air bags

I see that you can fit an aftermarket steering wheel with boss that plugs into the airbag system to fool the dash light into working normally. obviously there is now no drivers side airbag present.
does anyone know if the PASSENGER side airbag will still operate if this is done ?

Should do as the airbag hack is just a resistor that makes the system think its there

it might depend on whether there is one system for both airbags or a separate system for each bag.
demon tweeks seem to suggest that the item they sell switches off the power to the airbag system so I`m not sure how that would affect the passenger airbag.
