Hi all,

Just looking at safety in the car, I will be looking to get a roll hoop/half cage at some point soon, ideally I would also want to run the stock seatbelts however I know that isn't ideal with a roll hoop (although there won't be any cage over or in front of the seats). I have a few 3 and 4 point harnesses in the garage, the stock seats also have a shoulder pass through meaning that they seem to be ok for harnesses when attached to a harness bar.

I was just wondering who here runs with the stock seats but harness and or roll hoop?

One of ROC's founders (Kanujunkie ...... aka Stu) ran with FL seats, hoops and harness. Tidy job.

I literally came here to ask this question.

Does anyone make a bung type thing so you can keep the harnesses seperate? Does that make sense? Lol

It makes sense as the stock seats have the harness pass through, I just know that the bar behind the seat (where the rear bin and soft top latches are) wouldn't be strong enough to be used as a harness bar but it would seem that the seats should be ok.
