cheap insurance

Hi I am new to the site and I have just purchased a 2000 MR2.Roadster, I am over 65 and looking to be pointed in a direction for cheap insurance, this will be our second car, limited useage.

There are a few topic threads in this forum discussing insurance. Have a look in the Affiliates section too - Companies in there recognise MR2ROC and have come up with realistic quotes for many of our members. Mention your membership of the Club to secure their attention.

Adding a second vehicle to your existing policy may be worth a punt. Some companies are equipped to promote deals for this, some aren't: I tried it last week with my current insurer for a Xsara Picasso valued at £280 and limited to 5,000 miles a year. I'm 54, the insurance for my only car is £260, a couple of years ago it was £200 with Swift cover.
