Wow - did not know the TTE chrome could get like that. What a massive difference between before and after!

No idea.
Hopefully not.
Think a lot of heat has gone by time it gets to the tips.

Re-read slower.
No chrome present. Chrome has been removed. That is just the polished stainless steel that the chrome sat on. Like you say, who knew?

Hehe my bad - the problem isn't I read too quickly, the problem is I didn't read at all. Just looked at the shiny pictures and thought "wow!"
