Dan have you considered all the other locks on the car? Or happy to not use them?

I wouldn't give a monkeys as I never use the rear bin, glove box or fuel cap/engine bay lock.
I'm in the same boat tbh mate. I hadn't considered it but I won't use them anyway. Thank you thou :)
There are 7 locks in total [emoji51]...I remember it well [emoji39]

What's the process on removing the ignition barrel? How long we talking?
Looks like I'm gonna have to do the work in the impound you see.
It's not too bad ...you'll need to pull off the binnacle cover and undo the cowling to expose the barrel then using a centre punch and hammer you need to smack the shear bolt to get it started. Once you start it off you can undo it with your fingers. I didn't use new shear bolts to attach the new barrel but instead I used some m8 or m10 bolts if I remember correctly

Nice. Thank you.

I'll probably just drive back with it loose I reckon.

As long as it doesn't get in my way that is.
Going to go pick up roxy now.

Last question, will I have to reprogramme anything?
I didn't have to when I did mine but I did have the matching ECU with my lock set.

I have however programmed additional keys and it's very simple and very satisfying when it works [emoji4]
