Do any SMT owners still exist?

Had a clear out of some stuff and found a bound copy of a training manual, section 7 which deals with the SMT. If anyone wants it it's free, just bung me something to cover postage. Will give a very good understanding of how the system works. It used to be on the site but was Toyota copyright so taken down. IIRC I got it off spyderchat.
Ex.MR2 SMT sadly missed.

Sorry to read that.

Will try find it, take photos/scans of the pages and post/pm them; whichever is legal....

Found it!
Will ask my son to e-copy the 21 pages.

Meanwhile have a look at
https://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/product/vci-j2534-obdii-obd2-cable-supports-toyota-tis-techstream-software/
for sourcing the techstream software and interface.

Take note that there may be an issue concerning Windows XP. I have no such pc anymore and have not been able to get the software downloaded to a machine with Window 7, 10 to communicate with the OBD2 port.
I am an end user though, so that is most likely me.

This, the Toyota techstream software working or not on a pc, is not an smt only  subject so perhaps something to post for all?

Possibly outside the scope of this discussion but if you do need to use windows XP for old software, it might suffice to run it as a virtual machine (which essentially runs an operating system as if it was an application in its own window). VirtualBox is free and very capable for this type of thing. I've used it to run old games or test things on obsolete operating systems before. Worth a shot if your software doesn't work on your current operating system.

As the op mentions there is a Toyota copyright.

Scanned them on the wireless printer. Scans are now.... sómewhere; not on my pc.
By Jove am Í happy that our faithfull wireless watercloset has a mechanical ´send´ button .

@nutjack  Just a thought.
You might want to edit out your e-mail from the post.

Petrus
