Hello.

I have just bought a TRD header. Now waiting to hear that loud sound...  s8) 8) s8)
I'm thinking in buying either a pretunned Unichip or a Apexi PFC, but I'm not sure. Please help me choose. I Know that with the PFC I can obtain better results but how easy is to use it? Could anyone help me?
Which gains would you expect with this three mods?

Thanks,

Cheers,

Alberto

if you want fit and forget get the unichip, if you want to play, are able to play (i.e have the knowledge), or access to someone whio knows how to tune the PFC go for that.

Expect at least 20HP with all that and a significant gain in Low RPMs!!!
Taken that the Unichip or PFC are well tuned.

Like xdesing already said, while PFC offers more options than Unichip, I'd say you can expect similar gains from both, if you're keeping that close to stock engine. Assuming you can get both tuned properly, tuning matters more than the unit.

It's very easy to use. With the commander or datalogit. Say you have an advance of 20 in one place and you want to change it to 21, you just go there and change it, like a number in Excel sheet. The datalogit makes things easier as you can log your runs and analyze them at your own time, seeing if you have knock, where and when and you can even log wideband output there to see the mixture. It just doesn't get any easier than that, unless you get an Autronic or such that has Autotune.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.
