DBW Throttle

As the title states: Can we switch to drive by wire? I already have Link Ecu so that part is sorted. Need pedal and TB from another car I guess?

Lot of work for what gain ?    only reason I would considerate it would for cruise control and traction/launch control maybe but even then I don't think I could be bothered with the messing about on a car like this tbh

Yeah, just get the Link drive by wire setup and wire it in, I am keeping mine manual though but I guess a DBW throttle would allow for throttle limits to help with traction control, would allow cruise control and I am guessing it could also auto blip on downshift.

1. You will remove the water line that runs through it.
2. Eventually a bit bigger TB.
3. The things you mentioned.
4. Able to mess with it via the ECU.

Is not rly small thing if you are keeping the car forever

I have no idea what parts to use, thats why im asking. I have seen lots of Youtube videos where ppl are doing it but no idea what we could use.

I think we would need a pedal and something else but not sure.

If you have link, definitely fetch yourself a lotus TB. 
Automation blip on down shifts, cruise control, idle control via TB instead of that fkin valve.

Whichever. 

Make sure you look at wiring though as DBW requires a heftier output from the ECU.

Another advantage of dbw is that the ecu knows that you are doing the millisecond the throttle is touched

Skid Factory often convert cars to dbw although generally they have the luxury of the GM parts bin.
