See if I've got the keys to mine unless there is someone closer
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Google is your friend.

There is a toyota only event called the parallel pomeroy.

I believe that the actual pomeroy is on the same day /venue but open to all types of car and I imagine is much more serious?

Not sure if Mark is in the real pomeroy or the parallel?

Google found me the Toyota GB site with the announcement and nothing about luggage space... *shrug*

I found this
https://blog.toyota.co.uk/toyota-parallel-pomeroy-trophy-tests

And learnt this:
First up, the Suitcase Test. Or technically, suitcases. Two of them. This traditional VSCC test reveals whether your Toyota can fit two standard-sized suitcases in the closed boot or secured on a luggage rack – they each measure 60 x 40 x 20cm if you want to try this at home!

Interestingly, this test has been part of the Pomeroy Trophy since 1990 and is based on the FIA's Le Mans regulations.

And I do remember the scene from Le Mans '66 where a hammer was used to " increase" the available boot space, not sure if that would work on the cubbies!

I use "duck duck go" as my search engine , as suggested by a top down advocate on here.

Be your own judge, but I´d say the actual one is for Poms; Le Mans my bum...

I also need to secure spare wheel,as my battery is in the frunk

Failing to be able to safely stow two 'Club suitcases' (26" x 18" x 8") in closed boot and/or on a properly made and secure luggage rack

Failing to have a safely stowed spare wheel and tyre

The Other Stu

I have a particularly nice one (with leather straps) you're welcome to borrow and I don't live a million miles away from Silverstone - Milton Keynes
We'll be going up on the day (we attended last year) - should be there all day as we enjoyed the racing in the afternoon (heavily recommended). @darrenjuggins did it last year too. I don't know if he's attending this year?

The web site I found referred to slightly different luggage sizes 600 x 400 x 200 mm.
That would be 23.6" x 15.75" x 7.87"
Not much difference if your fitting on a rack but noticeable if your trying to hammer the cubbies into shape.

Anyone unearthed a Le Mans luggage requirement yet?

On the following FIA web site , page 13/38, clause 3.6.2 can be found the luggage regulations.
Elsewhere, there is comment that the spare wheel can be removed.

I take it there is a not a "reduced rear visibility" pit fall later on in the regs?

Could you employ an @Petrus rear wing to act as luggage rack, elevated to thoughtfully maintain rear vis.

I can easily fit a picknick basket in the space behind the seats. Blankets et al no problem. Do so when we go to the beach; cooler, blankets, parasol, bags for towels and all sorts, easily.

Reflecting on it, the past year, it is a very suiteable picknick car. Mine not being lowered comes into it´s own then too.

We did a lot of  (deliberate choice of frog-eye :-0 )

Hi All,

Last year was good, I didn't participate, but many did and you get to see both the Toyota one and the other event too.

Some lovely cars and some really nice people.

If you where wanting to get a few MR2 Owners together in one place for a meet up, this would work, loads of parting and the opportunity to take part if you want.

Not sure if i'm attending this year, as only just seen this, won't be in the MR2 as it's currently off the road, but would be good to see others there.

Kindest Regards
Darren J
