I have come across this a few times while doing some "research" and it would seem it's good for preserving and protecting all kinds of seals so I ordered one today to give it a go.
Say it with love, say it with flowers but never, never, say it in writing.

Not heard of the product and have not used it. Unlikely to either as my "research" found prices from £14.99 to £52.13 for a 100 g tube!

I have. It's good stuff and comes highly recommended. Thanks for the reminder as I need to treat both of my cars this spring.

The thing is Tony I havent got the mechanical skills that lots of members have on here to look after there 2's but simple and cheap maintenance like looking after the seals especially for a car thats not garaged is well within my limitations and in my opinion well worth doing for the small outlay involved and its fun to tinker :)

Tinkering is good John and as I had not heard of that particular silicone grease I looked at that product and the spread of prices and found it was very great. Hopefully you bought at the lower end to reap most advantage.
The only time I used a similar product was when some "VW" silicone grease came with a new Golf. Seemed a good product and got used but I wasn't convinced enough to buy more.
The Honda product as with the VW product is likely made by a third party. That third party product would be the one I would try to source and buy if I found I was keen on the Branded product.

I received this today, impressed with the packaging, the box is 280mm x 220mm x 150mm and they included a brochure and a packet of Haribo :)

I spent a quite sensual hour or so massaging the grease into all the seals, nooks and crannies, looked good afterwards.

Before and after of the top seals.

I went over all the seals I could find and going by how much of the grease I used I calculate I would be a VERY VERY happy man if I was applying the last squeeze out of the tube, I think I would be well in my 100s :)
