Very late to the party... I agree re saving weight but you can't save significant amounts without making the car a very unpleasant place to be. If it was me, I'd invest the money in the Kaaz gearset, even if you have the Celica / MR2 6th combo already. It's the only one that will keep you in lift through the gears, and will probably give you all the extra thrill of extra power without the complexity and while maintaining OE reliability. Expensive but it'll be fun
