Toyota MR2 service and maintenance

Hello everyone,

I've recently purchased a Toyota MR2 Mk3, and I'm looking for recommendations for good, trustworthy garages in the Birmingham area for servicing and general maintenance.

Any suggestions and/or tips would be appreciated!

Hello and welcome.

Although rare(ish) these are comparatively easy straightforward cars to work on. You do not need a specialist for basic servicing. It's a Toyota, nothing exotic here, shares the same engine as Mrs Miggins has in her auris shopping car.

Any competent mechanic can work on these, so would suggest just searching local to yourself for who has a good reputation.

That said, I would suggest you do it yourself if you can.
Nothing like knowing it has been done, what parts fitted when etc.
