Word of advice people. Don't use UHU, as when you brake if flies off into the windscreen. Yes I am speaking from personal experience!!

If you use the Clear silicone sealant (RTV), or blue tack, it (the plate) will not come off by itself. Don't try a shortcut, because it probably won't work. The RTV can be removed at a later date and does not hurt the pull plastic. All around the best way.   s:) s:)
