Hi all,

I am considering disconnecting my MR2's battery in order to reset the ECU. Will i be asked for a code for the stereo when i reconnect? If so where will i find it? I don't recall seeing a stereo code in my log book etc.

If you have the OEM head unit, no code is required.  You will lose all your presets and settings will be zero'ed.

If it looks similar this:

Then you have the OEM unit, often identified around here as the 'Fisher Price' head unit.

I thought that was Euro spec only? My previous 02 '2 was a euro and it had the Sony unit.  No codes needed for that one either.
