hi all

i've already read some of the info from here but want to know a
very simple question.

which sub (box) + amp would fit in my mr2 roadster without a problem?
so i can just buy and fit easily.
i mean from what i have heard, it is actually getting more of a problem
trying to find a place to put them without too much major problems.

thanks

I used a Musical Touch UnderDash Sub Jnr, and a kenwood amp sunk into the floor of the luggage locker;

More info on another amp that I think will fit under the floor without having to cut it.

And finally, the UD Sub Jnr,

sorry, just read the links below and saw what had happened.
Would there be any other sub that would just fit in the back, on top
or next to the amp, which would make it easier and removable?

thanks

The infinity Basslink fits in the back if you remove the plastic floor, but given the speed with which its owner replaced it, I dont think the results were particularly impressive.

You can always try something like this:

Or this:

Also, this is a post along the same lines as your asking...

Have look through the audio forum for more, use the search to narrow it down a bit.

The basslink was good, gave bass etc BUT it made the car rattle like a BIATCH.

I replaced it because of this and that i wanted the locker space back.

I installed an amp in the bottom of the locker and some comps and dynamatted and it sounds almost as good but still with rattles, not as bad rattles but they are still there.

Its good because it can run from speaker cables OR RCA's meaning you can run it from the standard headunit if needs be, only thing about that is that the sound is MUCH better with RCA's, they are also a little complex to setup - the person to ask about setup is MrMike as he taught me  s:) :) s:)

thanks for the photos, very nice car.

did you made your own sub-box?
it fits nicely on there. Have you tried fitting the amp at the storage
place? would it fit too?

thanks
andy
