Hi all,

I am looking to get my car weighed at some point to see what sort of weight it is currently at, can't seem to find any weighbridges around, apart from going to get the car corner weighted is there any way I can get the car weighed?

I think the easiest way to to bung your local scrapy a fiver like Josh did
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Not sure where you are in the country, but Donington have a weighbridge you can use.

I think I saw it a while back, will see if I can find some 150kg scales for not much - most seem to go to around 20 stone or around 130kg so might just have to get 3 and run a plank over them.

If you want to save a fiver........

Next time you have a clearout, get yourself to your nearest Council recycling centre (aka 'tip') and take something from their controlled waste list that needs to be weighed and can't just be chucked into a skip. Plaster/plasterboard is the obvious one.

Just google public weighbridge for your area, you'll find one, normally about a tenner for front / rear axle and both.
