ive got a small dink in the drivers side wheel arch, is there an easy way to get to the back of the panel to try and push it out again ... or does anyone have any other ideas ?

Depends exactly where it is. You either have to take the wheel arch covers off (or release a nearby clip to gain access with them still in situ), or go in from the back by removing the headlight.

Presumably it is a pushable "dink". Mine wasn't - the metal was actually creased so it was a bodyshop job unfortunately   s:oops:  s:oops:    s:cry:  s:cry:

yeah it is pushable there is no crease, its barely visible .. only to me cos i know its there .. the missus could not see it at all ! how easy is it to get the wheel arch covers off ? is it going to need jacking ?

Yes, jack it.

Then take the wheel off, and have much better access and room to work.

Ah ok,

Ive had a look at the plastic liner .. is it just a case of the pop out clips like the plastic liner under the bonnet ?

Yes, but from memory the clips are slightly different. I think you have to pull the centre out (with a thin screwdriver), rather than push it in as you do with the compartment cover.

They generally sub any dent work out to local dentmaster blokes; better to go direct. I know a very good bloke in the Bedford area who works his magic on most dents and dings  s:wink:  s:wink:

Is this another one of those differences between The Queen's English and English, American Style?  The title would be greatly misleading in the US.   s:lol:  s:lol:

You are right of course.........jacks aren't too stable when you are pushing and shoving. Come to that they are not to stable anyway!
