Just bought a boost gauge from Markii and Im looking at where I can fit it in the car - I like the idea of putting it on the drivers side pillar - can anyone recommend a good gauge pod for that position that would be in keeping with the car. Ta!   s:wink:  s:wink:

Indeed any other nice ideas people have would be appreciated  s:!: :!: s:!:

Is this needed with the TTET?  Or is it just for show as you can't really adjust the boost?

just because you can't adjust it doesn't make it for show.

say teh kit is set for 7psi, and then one day you notice it's pulling 9spi?

this way you will know and can investigate before it becomes an issue

Pics of boost gauge installs:

It has to be high on the dash or window pillar, because if your far enough into boost to care, you are not going to want to take your eyes off the road.

Jim, perhaps you and me need to find a decent pillar pod as i'm planning on doing this as well. I may even look into some sort of dual boost level unit and get SP to install at source

Yeah Ill start looking - at SP they showed me where to wire it up. You need to splice a rubber tube that they install under the rear bins (passenger side) attach a T connector and hose up the gauge - I just simply need to find an appropriate t connector and a pod too:?:   s:?: :?: s:?:    s:?: :?: s:?:

The pillar is about the only place that I can see the gauge ending up that looks OK!

Im on it  s:!: :!: s:!:    s:D :D s:D

Any news matey from Greddy on the Pod - I actually took the plunge and installed the gauge tonight.

Halfords have a t-piece (a little black thin one) and its fits a treat. Ill post the size tomorrow if you want when I look at the box - its in the garage at the mo!

Nervous moment cutting the hose as I really wasnt sure the t-piece would fit but luckily it did!

Now Im left with hose and gauge and nothing to mount it in  s:roll:  s:roll:

Where o where to get the piller mounted one ASAP? Hense the qn any news  s:?: :?: s:?:
