Urgent : Car rocking, Wont pick up Speed or rev over 4 revs

Im new to cars.
car keeps
-rocking & jerking
-wasnt picking up speed
-wouldnt go over 20mph
-wouldnt rev over 3rpm even with the foot down

Ive had my mr-s jap import for a few months ago.

About a month ago the engine failure light came on & the car was misfiring & was sluggish, struggling & not picking up speed.

First I got it serviced by at mate a garage who after servicing it turned round to me & said either my engines knackered or its one of my injectors, drive it round for a week to see if theirs any improvements.

Within a week i took it to Mr.T who after a overcharged diagnosis said to me it was a faulty injector. I told him to fix it. So he did.

When I came to pick it up. He said it was back to normal but there was evidence of oil on the pistons. That I should drive for a few weeks & then see how it is.

I started to drive it & 1st I noticed there was a bit of a rattly noise but went when I accelarated harder.

Then last week the oil light  would flash for half a second.Kept coming on as I would come nearly to a stop.I didnt understand this as it was only a month ago when I got it serviced. I checked it & the oil was low so I topped it up.

Yesterday I was driving & the car kept
-rocking & jerking

-wouldnt go over 20mph
-wouldnt rev over 3rpm even with the foot down

I rang up Mr.T & told da problem has got very worse.

Can somebody tell me what is going plz

Search for 'pre cats' or 'pre cat failure'.

In short, it's highly likely you need a new engine, gutted precats and a new main CAT.

After reading tonnes of stuff on this now I'd have to agree.

Now my wounds have healed follwing the struggle with the manifold bolt this topic re-focuses my attention to whipping em' out!

Sounds like a textbook description of precat failure syndrome. Oil on the pistons clinches it. Sorry, mate.
