I have just got into my roadster during heavy rain and when I started driving I felt a drip, drip on my foot.  I felt the carpet and this was quite wet obviously been dripping for a while.  The passenger side footwell was bone dry however.  I had a feel up under the dashboard and could feel quite a bit of water running along the cables behind.  But could not find where the water was entering.  Has anybody else experienced this and if so What was the cause?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like your drainage holes are blocked.. quick search should give you the answers... I had the same thing in my mk1 golf... got in and my feet were drenched.. water sloshing around everywhere!

I thought the drainage holes were in the back.  Are there any in front as well.  If so any idea where they can be found?

to start with i'd go to an auto glass place or alike and get them to check the seal on the windscreen, thats the first place to look, the next is to follow the air ducting into the car from the front vent, is there a crack in the ducting? as for drainage bungs, they're always at the lowest point and not the highest, so i really doubt it unless gravity has suddenly reversed

Go inside the car and have a friend water the car with a garden hose. That should help you find the leak.
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.
