When I bought my used MR2 it had 4 different tyre brands on it! I left them as they were though as they had plenty of grip. Anyway I went to get my car tax last month and realised I'd accidentally let the MOT run out at the end of January oops! 3 of the tyres were a little low and highlighted in the MOT so I changed all of them and due to the fact I had no MOT and no tax I had to do this fairly quickly without much time to shop around. In the end I had Toyo's fitted all round from Micheldever Tyres in Micheldever, total price £230 plus £20 for the tracking. So far I'm very pleased with them, had them before on a Seat ibiza Cupra and they seemed to last very well. Just wondered what other people recommended and what sort of price you paid? Partly to make me feel better about being parted with the £230!   s:D :D s:D

I've just bought toyo proxes T1-R

2x 195/45/16 &
2x 215/40/16

for £198 delivered from  w www.mytyres.co.uk w

will hopefully cost about £10 for fitting as i won't need old tyres disposed and they dont have to bother removing old tyres.

£230 was a good price for a quick buy from a garage tbh.

Thanks, sounds like I got a good deal then.
Incidentally if anyone needs tyres from the Hampshire area I would definitely recommend Micheldever Tyres. The service was great, kind of a McDonalds drive thru type system!

I paid £180 for a set from mytyres but with 15" fronts . At £20 you cannot have had a proper four wheel track done which the 2 needs  s:? :? s:?

Really? Micheldever seemed very trustworthy and seem to know what they were doing so wouldn't they have said if the tracking needed to be done in a different way?
