Mr T just called - they are fitting my clutch today.

"We wont have your car ready until tomorrow as its taken us 3 hours to take the turbo off so we can fit the clutch!"

I really do not like to think of some muppet reattaching my turbo!!!    s:cry: :cry: s:cry:    s:cry: :cry: s:cry:

Hopefully he or she is not a muppet!!

I hope TTE provided Toyota garages with "official" informations for mechanical interventions... meaning at least new procedures and times to charge...

I'd put good money down that they didn't - why print hundreds of copies of a manual that most dealers would never need, especially since dealers aren't offering an install service (to my knowledge)

Granted it does make life a little trickier with the turbo fitted, however the intercooler and cast pipe from the turbo to the intercooler need to be removed not the turbo itself.....  

If needs be we can provide them with a copy of the installation manual to assist (although I seem to remeber someone putting a pdf version on here a while ago?)

Just looked and cant seem to find it, anyone else out there know its whereabouts?

I have  the hardcopy anyhow if they need it but a pdf would be useful to e-mail them just in case.

didnt you get youre own installation manual along with the servicing manual where you had the turbo fitted? TTE gave me the booklet etc cus then you can give that to mr T, makes life easier

Well at long last Im up an running properly - New clutch fitted.

Reasonably straight forward except on driving away from Mr T I realised I had no boost and could hear the pressure escaping.

Quick call to Matt at SP who immediately highlighted what the problems could be and back to Mr T, car up, under cover off and as Matt rightly said they had not tightened the connections to the intercooler properly.

Top diagnosis!   s:D :D s:D
