what mod next?

What mod would people recommend next then, ive got H&S and apexi air intake. dont want to spend a fortune!

ideas please?

Hmm.... well... take a look at my sig... I'd say the best ones to go for next, performance wise, would be a corky or a short shift... they have improved the driving experience for me hugely since I fitted them, and they don't cost the Earth.

Or lowering springs?
£300 fitted from silverstone preformance.
I was considering it but am going for a unichip instead - That's another option if you want to squeeze horses as opposed to suspension.

Unichip...

Hands down, bar none, the best value bang for the buck I've ever known...

Really? I thought there wasn't that much of an improvement? I was pondering getting one.. is it worth it in your opinion?

Corky's plate or an FSB. You'll make the car corner harder than you ever thought possible, which means you'll go faster.

Worth it? Its better that every other mod I've ever carried out, and then some... Heres a power graph from Martins car, forget the headline peak power figures, thats not where you feel the improvements. look at the increase in torque lower down the rev range...



Of all the mods I've made, and Ive made loads, the Unichip is the one I would not be without.

Hmm maybe I should get one..

Spode I'll have to go thread hunting now to find out the best place to buy it and guide on fitting it... sigh!

No guides on fitting I'm afraid.

Unless you can pick up a Plug n Play harness from our previous group buy (in which case its pig easy) you will have to get it professionally fitted. If you buy new, Dastek are the suppliers, they're on the web and will advise on a local fitting / tuning centre for your area.

Hunt around the "going turbo" chaps to see what you can beg, buy, borrow from them on the Unichip front. They will not be needing theirs.

P.S. Before you ask, the GB was a one off from USA, they built the harnesses especially for us, I believe.

I got a price of TTE lowering springs from toyota of £140, £240 fitted. Is this a good price?

I seen on the eibach webpage the MR2 ones for £180, what are the same ones correct?

Sonds like a very fair fitted price to me and it will have been done by Mr T re any warrenty comeback etc.

make sure it includes VAT. If so that is a good price.
