Lacquer flaking

The lacquer on my sills is starting to flake off in various places. Has anyone had a similar problem?  s:? :? s:?

Yep, mines gone on the front drivers side bumper as well as the sill, just under the light.

took it to Toyota today and the guy said my rear wing had been resprayed and that as a result it wasn't covered. Bought the car last year at 18 months old and seller said it had never been in an accident. Rung the dealership where she had always had it serviced and they have no record of any accident repair. Am I been told rubbish by toyota or the seller? Toyota did say they will replace all alloys which are going again (2ndPair) and rear light cluster even though front alloys have not gone yet!!!
