As you can see in the signature, my car has a Remus dual exhaust fitted.
Have any of you noticed that only one of the two tips (the left one) seems to be working fully? After a hard drive, the left tip is very hot, and the right one merely warm(ish)... Also, when the weather is cold/damp, and after a cold start in the morning, vapour is coming from only the left tip.
Is this normal?
Anyone else noticed this?
Anyone else finds this annoying (it makes everyone think you glued a fake tip on your bumper, and we all know how we think about that sort of people...   s:roll:  s:roll:    s:? :? s:?

yep this is perfectly normal, its just due to gas flow in the box, the right tip does work but only under higher RPM, only a small trickle comes out under idle

Hmmm - my TTE exhaust seems fine - I've not extensively studied it but yesterday after cleaning both exhaust tips were warm.

The outlet for the left tip is closer to the manifold join so in theory it might receive a greater percentage of the exhaust gases.

You haven't got a leak between the right tip and the silencer have you? This could decrease the amount of hot air coming out of the right  side.

i've noticed that on mine too, especially in the morning with cold weather. More smoke on the left exit than on the right one.
To be honnest, I don't really care.....it's not like there was NO smoke at all, and on any other car that has a twin exhaust, it's very common.
So if someone has a problem with it and telling me it's a fake exit, well he can ........   s:? :? s:?
