I've done a search but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so does anyone know the best/easiest way to stop the seat belt warning lamps lighting up. Is it just a question of disconnecting the looms under the seats?
The reason for asking is I'm thinking about fitting a roll bar and harness belts, plus possibly replacement seats, and I don't want the warning lights to be on all the time  s:? :? s:?

Cheers,

Steve.

yeh, we had some leather seats put in recently and there is a wire that plugs into the seat, just keep that disconnected and you will be fine!

Just a thought, I think that the seatbelt warning lights link into the airbag deployment, I am sure that someone will be along to correct me if I am wrong...

logic says it shouldn't affect it, but then usually doesn't apply with Toyota stuff, what i would say is that if you've got 4 point harnesses then why would it matter?

just disconnect the loom under the seat and leave it alone

The seatbelt warning lights don't affect airbags.  s8) 8) s8)
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Thanks for the help everyone  s:D :D s:D  Like Tem says I don't think they affect the air bags but I've already removed my OE steering wheel anyway for an aftermarket one! And like Stu pointed out the harnesses should hold me back in the seat ok.

just one bit related to the harness's, make sure you have guides fitted to the bars for the harness's to go through, if not the buckles chatter together and slowly do your head in, i've got to get round to doing mine

if ever there was a mod i love then its 4 point harness's, i only use them now, you will feel more connected with them than then ever before and they look great as well  s8) 8) s8)
