I am picking up my new car its a 54 reg Mr2 Red Edition.  I understand that all 03' onward cars were equipped with the Sat nav head unit but the GPS module and ariel ommited, is it possible to buy this without spending more than an off the shelf unit?

Enjoy!!!

I've just changed mine to a 53 plate and was wondering the same thing. As the MR2 is being phased out MrT may have some bargains in the accessory line sometime soon.

...and it's rubbish with its tiny monochrome screen located in a very uncomfortable place to look at while driving.

I use my PDA with TomTom 5 Bluetooth which I thouroughly recommend.  Or you could save a few quid by buying the excellent TomTom One (must be less that £250 nowadays).
