Hello,

I changed the fisher price in my car for a single din stereo but have just changed it back to the fisher price as I was going to change my car. I'm keeping the car now though and fancy a new stereo but the one I want is a double din unit. Anyone know how these fit - will it just go straight in or will I need other parts - for example will it just be a case of putting the plastic piece on that clips around the standard fisher price?

If anyone can help this would be much appreciated.

look in the how too forum

the article on fitting a single din stereo shows teh bits you need

you won't need all of them for a double din but willneed the surround and teh 2 half moon bits

and the metal brackets

So I should just be able to re-use the bits I had for changing to a single din then? If so that's excellent (except for my credit card as being a problem to fit was the only potential stop to me getting the new stereo).

Cheers for the help,
