My 2 is just two years old and after picking her up from her 2nd service, the CD/Radio would not work. I've popped in a new fuse (15amp) but it blew after a few days.

Any ideas?

its knackered, get a new one under warranty, providing its not an after market job

it's the standard one (CD 6 changer). To be honest I very rarely play music in the 2 as I love to hear the sound of the TTE exhaust!

Cheers, I'll pop in to Toyota and mention it.

For the avoidance of doubt, i assume Stu is meaning the head-unit is knackered.

If you're car is only 2 years old, it will still be under warranty so i would just take it back as per Stu's suggestion (unless of course it is an aftermarket headunit)

If it is an aftermarket headunit, the few things i would check are that all the connections at the back are still good and not loose etc. if the harness has been spliced check it is still intact, and make sure that you're replacing the fuses with the correct value stated.

out of curiosity, does anything else share that fuse?

not sure if the ariel does? Seemed to go up and down OK - ie plenty of grease on it - and does not stick anywhere.

Of course without the radio fuse in, I can test that the ariel is on the same circuit.

so it could be the aerial motor (which probably draws quite a bit) or the radio itself. I suppose it will be up to Toyota to decide which to change!
