I have very little space behind my headunit, it's so tight that I can't get phono leads into the headunit as they press against the heater unit.
I have a JVC headunit which is fitted to the stock mounts for the sony double din unit, does anyone know if the fitting kit from autoleads moves the headunit forward at all?

Having just fitted a single din alpine 9850 unit using the autoleads adaptor the answer is no I'm afraid, space (or lack of it) is still the same.  I want to fit an amp using the phono output and am searching for some phono leads that have right angle plugs but haven't yet found any.

Have found a supplier of high quality right angle phono plugs:-

This will mean cutting off the existing plugs from an existing cable and soldering these on but I reckon they should just fit in the available space.

I plan to fit my Caliber 200 watt 2 channel amp behind the audio console somewhere as it is a compact size.  High quality phono cables don't come much longer than 1 metre so it needs to be fairly close.  I will post an update when done.
