is it easy to take out the radio unit?

Hi there just bought a conversion cable thing so that i can received the uk frequencys on my radio as i cant afford a new one at the min, i have got the double din unit that it came with, is it hard to remove?, and do i need anything special to take it out   s:?: :?: s:?:    s:?: :?: s:?:    s:roll: :roll: s:roll:

All the answers are on this thread, this is for a new stereo install - but this explains about the heater controls having to come off - then it is a matter of taking the screws out and pulling it towards you.

i got a flipout dvdplayer,my car was a jap import,so when i pulled out the double din i had a load of cables,so i got a toyta to ISO coverter at halfords ,took out the player and all those cables (think your only left with 1 r 2 cables after that) so from there its surprisingly easy to hook up.
