I am looking for a incar camera set up for the trackdays I have planned for the summer. I have seen this on Ebay

Looks good also seen it in a car mag this week but cant remember which one but it was £200. You can get a 2gb memory card that will record 1 hour hi-quality. Anyone know anything about this ?

I've treated myself to a cheapo JVC DV camcorder, and a Superclamp mount from  w www.fastfilms.co.uk w  that clamps onto literally anything (I'll be using my harness bar, but you can use a window, style bars, seat rests, basically almost anything). Total cost for the pair was about £170.

I went for this option as it's relatively cheap, DV cassettes hold up to 2 hours of film and are piss cheap, and it's easy to remove and adjust for different angles. Don't get a DVD or HD based camcorder though for track use, as the moving parts means it'll skip all over the place. Stick with either DV or solid state memory cards.
