Yes I have done a search, no I cant find anything  s:( :( s:(

Bought my 2 at the wekend, I have a 10m slit in the soft top.
Is there a repair kit you can get to fix a little hole before it becomes a big hole?

10M eh? that's a big slit!

Someone here has repaired a small hole and there are some threads about protecting the roof from the inside by covering up part of the internal metalwork.

Replaced roof

OK quite sad searching bring this:

Halfords do a soft top fixing kit which you apply from the inside to minimize the impact to the look of the roof. All fine unless, like mine, your split is along the front edge. Hence all my pics are top down!

I did look at that one butit seems its just glue, no tape, no material just some sticky stuff (marine grade) to plug the hole.
Found a kit today like the on in the link so will see what happens in the rain.

If its a slit in the classic place as shown in those links, then have a look at this too. You might benefit from some preventative maintenance on the other side aswell.

Russ,

If accessible from the inside, and it isn't on a fold, i'd go for RIB repair patches. (as in marine rigid inflatable boat).

Failing that, the patches and glue they use to repair car tyres.

If its on a fold, it may not 'sit right' with a bulky patch.

Its not weird its a very common weakness - as explained somewhere in that link I gave you. Newer hoods have had the brackets padded up to prevent (or reduce) this from happening.

Hope I have enough material to patch the other side as a preventative measure too then.
