alarm problem

Recently the alram has been going off on my x reg mr2 roadster, if u try open the door when locked or give the car a slightest nudge the alarm will go off, it has been doing this all throught the night, is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of this or was this a problem with this age of car?

any input or help woud be great.

Can I suggest you go to Search. Enter Alarm + Sensitivity then click on Search All Terms.
