I noticed this morning that the passenger seatbelt light was flashing although I had no passenger.  I have not noticed this before when I don't have a passenger – is that supposed to happen?  Does it sound like I have a fault?

Thanks in advance

Mine always goes off when I have my laptop in the passengers seat, do you have a very big make up bag???

Well if the seat is empty then you have a fault, if there is something on the seat then nothing to worry about

Mine goes off sometimes when I drop my handbag on the seat. Once I move it, it goes off again    s:D :D s:D

Stop putting your handbag on the seat or take out 90% of the stuff you don't actually need in there, problem solved!

oh and if anyone thinks that disconnecting it may effect the airbag operation, then disconnecting it has the same effect as sitting in the seat with the seatbelt on, something which has never been directly confirmed anyway
