im looking for the one that controls the windows, but would like to know where both of them are. im guessing one of them is behind the seats.
(i have a puddle in my luggage compartment behind the seats. strangely everything else works on the car. )
i have found  a tear in my roof.
i am assuming there are 2 ecu's as the fusebox list has ecu 1 and ecu 2 listed on it.

thanks

Puddle is because your drains are blocked, look in the how to section for the remedy.

I know, i still bet on blocked drains though if he has water in the storage bins.

There are four of them:
Power steering ECU, in the front, under the bonnet, on the right side in RHD cars.
Engine ECU, in the cabin, behind the rear storage bin, on the left side.
Body ECU, under the dash, behind the gauges.
ABS ECU, under the dash, on the right side.

Body ECU controls the windows.

You must mean ECU-IG and ECU-B in the instrument panel fusebox?

There's also ECU-B1 in the engine compartment fusebox. And it's not just one fuse for one ecu, it's way more complicated than that. You really need the factory electrical manual to figure it all out.

hmm. thanks for the info. im now more lost though.
theres no water anywhere near the dash.
maybe a connector behind the seats is waterlogged? allthough the fuses aren't blowing.
i think i will try to dry out the car first, and see if that fixes it.

if anyone has any other ideas they will be gratefully recieved.
thanks

Me too. What was your problem anyway? I can't see it from your posts on this thread. Maybe you posted them elsewhere and I missed it...? You really should keep all data in one thread.

Probably not the same with your car but I had a windscreen leak and it went down the pillar into the fuse box (passenger side of the dash) and gave me all maner of electrical problems.

I reckon its behind the glove box. Behind the gauges on a LHD car? Never looked at, or searched for it, so may be wrong.

It's definitely behind the gauges on LHD car. But the factory manual shows it's also behind the gauges on RHD cars and I'm assuming it's right, unless someone proves it wrong.  s8) 8) s8)
