When they say "bonnet", is that the front or back?

I'm guessing the sensor at the back will have been damaged in the crash. Has it been checked out? Perhaps even cross-wired?

Maybe the alarm is damaged from the shunt. Obviously opening or closing sensors when disarmed should be irrelavent.

What happens if alarm is set, and you open the bonnet?

Just wondered if the alarm has got itself in a muddle, thinking it's set when not and vice versa??
