Hi all

Really simple question for you - blue or black JDM badge on a silver 2??

Thought that i might de-badge the back and JDM up the front as i much prefer the look of the JDM nose badge. Both colours are available through Mr T and just can't convince myself either way at the mo.

Any photos that anyone has of these two options on silver would be fantastic   s:wink:  s:wink:

Cheers

Andy.

I reckon black would look better on the front, unless you have a blue theme running throughout the car.

No blue elsewhere, red calipers and seats, otherwise has black tyres and roof   s:wink:  s:wink:

Oh no, don't get me starting to think about that again, i have been considering going black on the stock wheels for ages now   s:wink:  s:wink:
Still not done it despite getting a very good quote from the wheelspecialist in cardiff to do them in matt black.
Just not convinced that it will look better than the stock silver on a silver car and mine are in very good condition so don't really need the refurb yet.
Would be v interested to see how yours look if you defo go for it

Defo Black, I have just bought Liz's black nose badge for my silver roadster.

If your not sure about Black wheels a good alternative is Anthracite/Charcoal. Wheels Specialists in Fareham do this option so i'm sure your Cardiff branch will also.

No offence meant to anyone with black wheels on a silver '2, but I don't think it looks good at all. Like fantasque said, i think an anthracite or charcoal, or some of of gun metal-ish silver looks much better IMO.

With all the red in the interior, you don't want a blue blob on the front. So if you can't get hold of one of the custom made ones in red, then I say "black" (like mine).

Black as a gloss looks a bit guff.

Anthracite or satin black is nice.

The other thing that looks good is painting your plastics black  s:) :) s:)
