Jap GT300

I have had a few ideas floating about for a while.  I was really keen on Candy apple for a while and then a light blue -> green flip or even Gold Candy.

I don't want to cover the car in decals, but want to show it's racing heritage (gt300).  there is a nice RX7 in gulf colours (blue/orange) with subtle JGTC decals that has been featured in a few places.

I have seen on SC that Blitzo has been looking at the lotus design BRG with yellow stripes.  I have seen this on a new Elise with a hard top and looks really good.

As my car is green, I was thinking of adding the yellow in the same position as the limited tun TTE edition (for the F1 street affair).

Mark, Could you post that photo you have?  and could someone possibly photo shop me an example?

Thanks Adam

I think thats the one you saw on my desktop.

not sure how it will work on teh monocraft but I'm contemplating it on mine, yellow where the red is and BRG where the white is.

not sure how well that will work either.

any photoshop gurus want to help us out here.

I think black would look great.

Like Kris, I'm not sure about the green.

Have you all tried the Photoshop templates that are over on Spyderchat?  Great for trying out different colour schemes.

Quote from: "Jap GT300"I have had a few ideas floating about for a while.  I was really keen on Candy apple for a while and then a light blue -> green flip or even Gold Candy.

Go to your local TVR dealer and have a look at some of their cars. Then pop into their bodyshop and (pointing at the 2) say "I want you to spray that...." (now pointing at the TVR colour scheme you like) ".....in that colour.......here's a wad full of cash"

IMHO TVR's have got a certain colour scheme that just makes them special.

After JAE last year me a liz after walking round the show seeing all the Flip colour though it would be a good idea to get it done to our's, i went to Dawson's in colchester who said teh cheapest way is us the base colour as the under coat and then spray several layers of maybe silver or gold over the top and this would give the silver or gold which then gose to red the base colour.

quote was £1000, and i though it was cheep consedering they have to stip the car completely and i saw a red Fiesta there with the silver flip and it looked the Nut's   s:lol:  s:lol:

maybe worth a call

I agree with Buster. I think some of the flip colours are awesome; especially the ones TVR do. I think my favourite is the blue/purple one  s8) 8) s8)
