Replacing battery

Couldn't believe it, my battery gave up this morning  s:( s:(   (may be the 80gb hard drive - who knows?) but charged it all day & it started fine tonight, lets see if it starts in the morning  s:? :? s:?  

2 1/2 years old 16K on the clock & the battery dies - that's not right, I do about 25 miles a day & not little 5 minute shopping trips (obviously with no boot   s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  )

s:oops: :oops: s:oops:  Hi, I'm new to the club but couldn't resist getting involved with the battery situation. my smt has had five new batteries since it was new in Oct. 2001 and it's only done 7500 miles. I've had the RAC out at least 7 times. I eventually got the Tech. from Toyota to visit my dealer and give it the once over but he couldn't tell me what the problem was as he couldn't see anything draining it. When I use the car it's for at least 70 miles at a time but if I leave it for more than a week I get in and prey.   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:  Blackp100
