can anyone advise me on the proper method of both replacing the wheel and finishing the job by putting the airbag light out, and removing the existing bag and wheel without mishap ?
Any help much appreciated.

Did you ever find a solution to this one?  I'm curious about this as well.  Are there boss kits with an appropriate resistor to stop the airbag light coming on?
