Vehicle speed signal wiring?

Can anyone tell me which wire behind the instrument binacle goes to the vehicle speed signal/sensor please?

Or point me to a wiring diagram please?

You will need to double check this but I think it might be purple.

EDIT: It is violet and white

I need to know the same information tbh as I want to wire my shift light to it so it knows what revs im going, I know you can test for it with a multimeter but its a pain in the backside sometimes

Got some info off spyderchat and I'm fairly sure I know which wire it is now

It's purple and white - once I've fitted my heads up display and it's working I'll post up to confirm  s:) :) s:)

Good point

My car has a gear shift light but it's not worked since I had the car. I'll have a look at that wiring while I'm there and post that too  s:) :) s:)

Ive not had chance to look at the wiring on the back of the speedo cluster yet, would it be possable to explain clearer for a noob?
How many plugs are there to the cluster and roughly how many wires? is there a color on the plug or a pin number?
I cant seem to find anywhere that has pictures etc...

The tach wire is white on C6
The speedo wire is violet with a white stripe on A5
