Hey everyone, Im after a bit of advice.
I want to install a double din dvd player into my roadster, can anyone recommend one? nothing expensive though please.
If anyone has already done this, did you experience any problems?
I only ask because when I installed a double din in my mk2, the alternator blew and i had to replace it.
Thanks

Co-incidence on the alternator unless you really messed up the wiring.   In order to overload the alternator you need a fairy sturdy aftermarket amp and some big ass subs.

As for the double din...  Cheap, Reliable, Lots of features - pick two you can't have all three  :-) :-) :-)
2003 Silver MR2 - Very Very Standard + Leccy Renault Zoe aka the battery mobile.
Ex Blue 04 MR2 - TTE Turbo\'d ~185bhp/200lbs/ft, Sports Clutch, Breast Plate, Lowered & half decent audio
Ex Silver 05 MR2 -  SP turbo conversion 227bhp, 205lbs/ft, with  cobra dual exit exhaust.

Just checked and the search button is working. http://www.mr2roc.org/phpBB3/search.php

Easy to blame one unrelated thing on another, things usually go in threes so what didnt you tell us.

Let us know what you finally select.

Personally I am a huge fan of JVC. Try http://www.caraudiosecurity.com they are reasonably priced and have a sale on at present. FYI the roadster has a double din as standard so I think it's probably harder to fit a single din to be honest as you have to add that horrid adapter thing.
