Thought I would put the Jetex Panel filter in last night but came across a few problems.  I took the old one out without any problems, put the jetex in, but then i couldn't get the gold clips to clamp back down or get the black plastic clips in place   s:evil:  s:evil:  .

The rubber edging appears to be quite thick on the jetex which looks to be preventing the gold clips going into place.  Anyone had the same problem with a jetex or a similar filter?

the standard filter went back in fine with no problems!

I also noticed that it is nowhere near as deep as the standard filter!

Thanks,

Viggs

Have you guys noticed any improvement to performance or noise after fitting?

Possibly a litle louder roar at the high end of rev scale, performance would'nt like to say, its probably Phys, pyhs, pysho, f**k it,  all in the mind.  s:lol:  s:lol:

I was thinking of getting a performance panel filter because I reckon the stock airbox is probably good enough. I realise a replacement panel will probably have no noticable difference power wise but even an improvemnt in noise may be worthwhile. I may try a K&N or Green.
