Two wheels questions........

Firstly, does anyone know of a decent wheel refurb place near or around Cambridge? I am going to have to bite the bullet and get the wheels fully refurbed cos I can't live with this incessant bubbling on MrTs crap wheels.

I have looked on Yell.com for "wheel refurbishment" and it comes up with nothing. Except Wicked Wheels, which only to the touch ups on your doorstep. Also tried it on Google and only comes up woth Pristine in MK, and thats a bit far.

So, any ideas? Am I putting in the right criteria in the right searches? And does anyone know of anywhere good?

Secondly, has anyone taken a look at mytyres.co.uk recently? I have to take my car in for MOT this afternoon and I have a feeling the tyres are finally on the last legs. Have looked up the Toyos on there and it says they are not available before the 5th MAY!!! HOW COME? Still damn cheap, but I need them now! Have they changed them? Or just out of stock?

Any idea what I should be paying for them at a fitter anywhere? I have had a look at the Toyo site and there are a few places that stock them, but haven't had chance to ring them yet.

I think we've probably bought their entire stock lately  :-) :-) :-)


I'd use thier price to attempt to convince your local place to match them.

Liz got hers for £200 at the local place that way.

Think that is what i will use them for. Sounds like a better bet.
