Mysterious click!

Clicky click click!! >.<

There is a strange click that seems to be coming from the passenger door/rear of the car! and when this happens there is a relay in the dash that is going mad (sounds like the indicator is on)

Sometimes it doesn't happen for ages then it will go mad all of a sudden and I have been unable to track any patterns as to when or why it happens.

I'm not mechanically or electrically minded at all =/

If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate hearing them! (It is starting to bother me  s:P :P s:P )

That sounds like the area of the ECU, behind passenger seat, under the bin. Are your drains clear? If not, water overspills into that area. Might be worth checking.

Ill have a double check but the drains were clear a few weeks ago when i got the car and it was clicking not long after that.

Its not really a rattle as such, sounds almost as if the car is trying to lock the door? or similar kind of click noise =s

nearest relays to this are in the back one lot behind the battery on the bulk head and two on the left of the battery. when it starts clicking if your able to stop and just put your hands on the relay's and you will feel it clicking. without knowing what relay is clicking you might be stuck on finding out what is clicking.
