Touch screen mind of its own

For some time now my JVC double din only responds to my touch whenever it wants, it used to very easy to get it to respond but now u almost haveto punch the screen. Any ideas? Hoping the screen isn't on it's way out as it wasn't a cheap unit. Thanks

have you degreased the screen as this could interfere with it reading. what ever you use cant leave a resisidue

Ahh ok, so do u suggest those alcohol based wipes that kind of vaporise and leave the surface dry in seconds? Or are u thinking of a spraying style degreaser ?

microfibre lens cleaning cloths do a great job, worth keeping one in the car. Just wipe with cloth.
