Ashtray iPod Dock

Evening,

I was looking for an iPod dock for my new head unit, and couldn't find anything I liked. So I decided, not being a smoker, to build one into the ashtray. I bought a 120gb ipod for £40, the screen doesn't work but the head unit has full ipod control so it was not needed. All together the materials have cost me about £5.00.

I'm quite pleased with the results. It took me longer than anticpated... alot longer, but I think its alright for a first attempt.

Looks and works great matey, well done.

I was just wondering if it would be possible to get the ashtray to power open on its own, maybe use the signal coming out for the aerial ??
