Just replaced my tired old 501 sidelight bulbs with a set of 10 led 501 bulbs!

These really do look amazing and make a big difference to the look of the pre facelift lights, the worst part was fitting the bulbs!
found out after starting that you need the hands of a midget to be able to get the old ones out and the new ones in,  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  

I will post some pics as soon as i have figured out how to do that!

I replaced my 501s yesterday with the cheaper chunky version of these. The ones you've gone for look much more pro.

Pre sidelights can be a pain if your fingers are the wrong shape. Its a little easier if you move the main lead out of the way and lose the two visible 10mm screws to lift the unit a little.

Or take the bumper off which really doesn't take as long as you might think.

Hi ... are these a lot brighter than standard and are they easy seen in daylight, fed up with cars not seeing my car and pulling out.

Ivehad these on my car for about3 years now, or similar ones, not multiple led just one bright one, they look miles better than standard and are much brighter. Best £1.20 I ave ever spent, used the same ones to do the number plate lights in my Peugeot too, huge difference to that too

Hi ... well changed my front sidelight bulbs to the led ones and they are super bright very pleased,you can not put them in wrong polarity wise as they only work one way round, Had to take bumper off and headlight out to change bulbs as impossible to get to, took 20 mins to take off bumper remove headlights and change bulbs BUT took me over an hour to put bumper back on yuk, Prob now headlights look dull yellowish should prob have changed them at same time for something better, i think hids are illegal so poss just more powerfull bulbs.
