Cd player changed

With great difficulty and thanks to it ripping my nail clean off :/ the Sony xplod cd player is in  s:D s:D  sounds 100x better much clearer sound!! I will post pictures soon

I also have to thank 3s_a_croud for his post with pictures and advice on changing the unit

Is that your iPod lead sticking out under the storage hole? I made a hole in the back of the storage hole and fed mine through there, although it is a pain in the arse pushing it all back into the shelf so its not all dangling out the front, (i don't like that) So i might see if I can feed it up through the back of the dash to the storage bin on the dashboard instead, added bonus of that is I can stick my phone to the windscreen when I want to use the satnav and not have the wire dangling down the centre console.

Yea I'm trying to make a docking station with the ash tray so just drilled through ashtray ready phone sits nicely in there for the time being lol

If you didn't know already Ashley, if you press the AF/TA button until both are off the aerial will go down unless you have the Source set to Tuner which prevents the need for putting in an aerial switch like many have and prevents your '2 from looking like an RC car  s:lol: :lol: s:lol: .. that's the main reason I bought a Sony  s;) s;)

That looks pretty much the same as mine but without Bluetooth, I went for the red backlight too, got me a BT3900U.

Really?!? Thanks I didn't know that? Lol I was goin to go for the Bluetooth model but at the time of buying the head into I had a Bluetooth parrot kit in my previous car so thought it would be daft to spend the extra but it came around and bit me haha
